Pavlodar Monitoring and Control Center, Kazakhstan

The main goal of creating the Monitoring and Control Center of Pavlodar Region was to improve the efficiency of the akimat's activity by applying modern information and communication technologies in the work of state bodies, including big data technologies.

The Polymedia team developed and introduced a comprehensive hardware and software system based on modern display systems and an integrated data analysis platform. Our team was also in charge of room modernization, designing a technical solution and installing the equipment in four halls: a control and monitoring center, a situation hall, an analytics room and a meeting room. Our assignment also included the introduction of a 17-module information analysis system for improved decision-making.

The multifunctional control center for the Pavlodar region was designed to be easily transformable and adjustable to serve a variety of purposes. The space can be used as a control room, an analytics center or a crisis management hub.

The Monitoring and Control Center features a 9.7x3.5 m POLYLED video wall paired with a high-performance Polywall 5000 controller and Polywall visualization control software. The center is also equipped with 32 operator workstations with large-screen Samsung monitors. The switching subsystem of the control center takes full advantage of the AVoIP functionality of Crestron's NVX series.

The core of this project is the information analysis system which is developed on the Visiology platform. It enables the consolidation and monitoring of key indicators of the regional development. The introduction of the information analysis system helped increase the transparency of the akimat’s activity in the region, decrease the time of drafting different reports for the management. The system increases the convenience and efficiency of quick decision-making in daily and critical situations.
